Sleeping Problems
Kids with ADHD may have problems in sitting still, and chances that they may stay up all night is high, which might give them sleeping problems.
According to what I've read in the internet, sleeping problems can worsen the symptoms of ADHD for it can affect the way ADHD kids concentrate in doing things. Usually, parents just let their kids sleep late because they know it's one of the factor of having ADHD, which is not an effective parenting. Now we must try our best in getting them to bed. You may tell some bedtime stories or lie with your kid in their bed until they go to sleep.
There are a lot of ways, just remember to assure that your kid gets enough sleep for him/her to focus well everyday.

Observe your Kid while Playing
As we all know, kids with ADHD kids always likes to play but they have difficulties in learning social skills and social rules. That's why you should observe your kid while playing.
Because of this, you might want to start by inviting one to two friends to play with your ADHD kid. You can even reward them for showing a nice behavior while he/she is with his/her friends. This'll help them get the idea of what is the acceptable and unacceptable behaviors in the society. Just remember to always remind them to avoid hitting, pushing, yelling or doing violent actions to their playmates.
You as a parent should always guide your kid to their childhood life having ADHD.

Fidgeting
Usually a parent would stop his/her kid from fidgeting around the school or house because it annoys them so much. But according to research, fidgeting helps ADHD kids to learn in a better way.
An experiment has been done by Mark Rapport, a professor from the University of Central Florida. He discovered that letting your child with ADHD, to fidget around helps in activating their wroking-memory where they can concentrate and focus more.

Creating a Time Schedule
Creating a time schedule is one way that will help your ADHD kid in managing his/her time and organizing his/her responsibilities.
You might want to set a schedule of your child's eating time, studying time, playing time, TV show or video games, and bed time. And make sure that you post the schedule where your child always sees it. This will help your child to practice the right routine to reduce the display of being ADHD.
Always be reminded, that in creating a time schedule, you must guide your child always to help him/her follow what is right.
